CASABLANCA INN ON THE BEACH, Santa Cruz – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and had a great view with a lovely balcony. The location was perfect, right by the beach and close to the boardwalk with amazing views. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. However, the dining options could use some improvement as there were limited breakfast choices. Overall, a fantastic stay with great value for money.

A charming hotel with lovely views and a convenient location across from the pier. The suite with a small kitchen and balcony was delightful, but the lack of daily room servicing was a downside. Service was excellent, despite late-night activities by staff. The snacks were mainly sweets, and some protein options would have been appreciated. The hotel offers a pleasant experience overall but lacks some necessary amenities for the price.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and clean rooms that even had a kitchen included. Being told the room was beachfront was a wonderful touch, and the sunroom facing the beach was a perfect spot to people watch and enjoy the ocean view. However, I did find it odd to work until 2:00 in the morning and not have anyone with a service mindset to assist, although the staff was generally pleasant and helpful. The location was amazing, with the ocean just up the hill in a great spot, offering a range of nearby attractions. While the dining options weren't impressive, the high-quality dishes made it worthwhile. The hotel facilities were decent overall, with some room for improvement.
